Holiday Island is giving everyone an opportunity to tell their story through a picture!  Capture the beautiful landscape of the Island.  Be adventurous with a water activity (boating, kayaking, water paddling) or perhaps show off your drive on the golf course.  Holiday Island provides the absolute best canvas, whether it be showing off your local community hang out, snapping a pic of nature at it’s finest or highlighting your talents on a bike or skateboard!  Now is your opportunity to capture the moment and share it with those who support this great community!
The Holiday Island Photo Contest starts June 1^st and ends July 12, 2024.  This is a free contest with the only stipulations are as follows: all photos must be taken in Holiday Island, and you must be respectful to nature and your neighbors.  There is a total of 8 prizes!  Top prize is $50 sponsored by Simplicity Real Estate Solutions; the remaining prizes are $25 for each category winner.  The categories consist of:  1) Landscape Photos – Sponsored by _____ 2) Lake/Water Photos – sponsored by Fletcher’s Fishing Guide Service 3) Wildlife Photos – sponsored by Kelly’s Creations  4) Action/Sports Photos – sponsored by ________ 5) Architecture & Community Photos – sponsored by Eagle Rock Real Estate  6) Video/Drone Pics  - sponsored by    7) Photos Taken by Youth <18 years old – sponsored by ____________.
Not only is there an opportunity to win cash prizes for your photo, but your visual achievement will also be showcased on the HI Chamber website & the HI Chamber Facebook page.  All photos are to be in .jpeg or .png format.  Please email your submissions to :  peggy@hichamber.com   with the following info:  Name, Address, Phone#, Email, Name of Photo &  Age (if a youth under 18yrs.)  *Usage Agreement: All Photographers agree to allow the Holiday Island Chamber of Commerce & event sponsors to use their photos in advertisements and publications. 
Important Dates:  Deadline= July 12^th.  Winner Announced= July 19.  The Judging Panel consists of 3 judges determining  the category winners and  the Grand Prize winner.  Capture the moment and get rewarded while doing so! Happy snapping
